Folding Boxboards

Folding Boxboard is one of the most versatile types of board material for packaging products; and remains to be one of the most popular substrates within the packaging industry. It can be die cut, folded and glued to create virtually any type of carton design. FBB is extremely popular in the food and drink, cosmetic and retail industries.

Folding boxboard is a virgin fibre paperboard, with consistent purity. By utilising a layer of chemical pulp, a strong and rigid sheet is created, making it a low density but a material with very high stiffness. Folding Boxboard can be provided in a coated format which gives a great surface for lithographic printing. Commonly found in 150-400gsm board grades, you can be sure that you will find a grade to suit your product.

We are able to offer up to 8 colour printing with a variety of different finish options, including gloss and matte varnishes, OPP laminates, UV spot laminates and foil blocking. We can also design boxes to include embossing and debossing, adding an even more premium feel to your carton. Window patching is also possible and specialist cutouts can be incorporated into the die cutting process.
